Atlas is one our special needs cats. This boy spent several long weeks at Animal Control before being rescued by LCPR. Life was beginning to look brighter for this boy, with the future of a new life. At his medical exam he was found to be felv+. Being Felv+ does not mean an automatic death sentence.
On a good note Atlas appears to be a very healthy boy and at a good solid weight and shows no sign of illness. Since he was in such good condition he has been castrated and is up to date on vaccinations. Atlas could like a long and healthy life just as any other cat. What if he is simply a carrier? If truly infected or a carrier Atlas should be an inside kitty and the only kitty unless others in the household are positive.
Atlas is a large and lovable cat, approx. 5 years old and has plenty of love and purrs to give to the right person. We at LCPR know that there is the purrfect family out there in search of one cat that needs a wonderful and loving home. If you are that family please contact us at lastchancepetrescue-dickson@yahoo.com or 615-797-9716
